POLITICAL ACTION

episode49 has supported conservative political action for several years. Nowhere are the stakes higher for realtime information. The information that is managed is huge, and must be easily accessed at locations throughout the country - and accessed quickly, usually by people with limited or no training. Election day is the ultimate deadline, with systems having to be available and working in time to make a difference.

The systems we create provide the engine to move campaigns forward. The applications present, communicate and organize the vital details of evolving efforts to involve the people you want in the political process. Working with the information the systems deliver, volunteers can reach out to provide the contact and messages necessary to motivate Americans to participate in elections intelligently.

Our background in creating these action-directed sites has helped us in improving the robustness of not-for-profit systems.

Because of our continuing commitment to our political action clients, episode49 only accepts development from political organizations whose mission is consistent with our existing client base.

FRED THOMPSON PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

Description:

episode49 first launched www.ImWithFred.com, which took in over $350,000 in the first 48 hours. episode49 immediately began building increased functionality to improve the site. These new features included a completely new design, an extended fundraising program, an action center where volunteers can get involved, a newsroom, a video feed, a full featured blog and other social networking tools.

Ken Smith, Managing Partner of episode49 notes that, "Many development firms would love to have this opportunity and episode49 is proud to be in the elite group of those who can actually achieve that goal."

The Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ) was reported on wired.com as saying, "A detailed content analysis of Thompson's site on the eve of his entering the race finds that it is already among the most sophisticated of anyone running," writes PEJ's research associate Niki Woodard. "It exceeds all of his GOP rivals in interactivity and is notably active in fundraising."

"Although we have a number of national and even international clients, we still place tremendous value on our local clients," says Ken Smith, managing partner of episode49. "It is our local experience that allows us to compete in much larger markets like Atlanta and Washington, DC."
