e49 to extend SMARTmail capabilities for Airnet Group
The Airnet Group, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee awarded the contract to develop the user interface of their flagship mass communication tool, SMARTMailer, to episode49 in January.
SMARTMailer is a broadcast emailer designed to allow users to efficiently and effectively communicate with their clients and customers utilizing email with the capability of sending up to millions of emails per hour. It was designed to be cost effective with no spam or blacklisting issues.
The original concept was designed to assist the political arena in keeping critical issue-oriented information fresh in the minds of targeted voters and party members.
The Airnet Group developed the back end functional product while episode49 developed the front end functionality for the new email tool. In addition, they were also assigned the task of integrating the fax, instant messaging, and text messaging interface. The new product will be called SMARTcommunicator and is expected to receive heavy use during the 2008 Presidential campaign.
