e49 launches online magazine for Floor Daily

Chattanooga based home improvement magazine, Flooring Focus, recently awarded the contract for a complete website development and design to episode49.
Their new website, www.floordaily.com, was designed to be an all-inclusive online magazine. The home page contains a section that features articles published in the magazine. You'll find opportunities to advertise with them, as well as, the opportunity to subscribe to their newsletter.
The new site contains a product showcase promotional page built with a custom content management solution (CMS) allowing the online editor to post new products and articles on the fly.
Developers at episode49, created the CMS with ease of use for the end user. It requires no programming or web design skills to post new articles and photos. Even the product and event photo gallery can be updated quickly and easily.
Of the many feature rich multi-media options on the site, FloorRadio provides information to site visitors in a downloadable audio file. FloorRadio is a news and interviews program, focusing on the players and events from all segments of the industry including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and members of the retail community. Since online audio is still new to some online users, episode49 created a FAQ section that provides help and downloading instructions for the end user.
Since FloorDaily.com is very interested in the consumer's point of view, the site contains a key question survey box posted on the home page. Again, with ease of use, the editor can review the results and spot consumer trends.
Consumers, however, are not the only users of the site. Many suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and members of the retail community frequent the site on a regular basis. Their primary stop is the economic indicator page. The developers of the site implemented a CMS for the page, giving the online editor flexibility when posting new economic trends.
