episode49, partnered with The Bivings Group, continues to make a lasting impact in the political arena. Their most recent project stretched out as far as Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Louisiana Governor Hopeful, Bobby Jindal needed a strong web presence with a local feel. Initially, Innovative Web Strategies met the challenge to fill the need for the online Jindal presence. The project had many challenges and time-frame was its biggest. IWS soon called in the experts to do what the experts do best. Thus, IWS awarded the contract to The Bivings Group and episode49.

"It was a complete project from ground up. The Bivings Group did the design and site flow and episode49 built the back-end functionality," says Ken Smith, managing partner at episode49.

Since the project time frame was a critical issue to the Jindal campaign, The Bivings Group and episode49 stepped up production and started burning the midnight oil. According to Ken Smith, projects like the Jindal campaign site usually take up to eight weeks to complete. However, they completed this project in only two.

Upon completion, the website soon gained the attention of others in the political arena and has been noted as one of the most innovative campaign websites in the nation.

On the new Jindal website, www.BobbyJindal.com, visitors will find a volunteer recruitment section and many multimedia options, including video footage of Jindal on the campaign trail.

You'll also find Jindal's blog and links to other blogs that comment on the campaign. Other mentionable website items include links to his MySpace page, YouTube videos, his Facebook page and Flickr site. Jindal was adamant about the new website including options that allowed people to get involved in the campaign and stay connected with new voters and existing supporters.
