e49 brings printer online
New web site allows customers to get estimates, submit their materials for publication online.
"We took the time to understand how Pathway worked with their customers, and realized how much quicker we could make it", said Kurt Schaffer, managing partner and chief system architect, "we were able to creatively develop solutions that addressed what customers wanted most: quick estimates and easy transferring of source materials".
The new web site, www.pathwaydigital.org, makes it possible for customers to submit their printing needs for Pathway to quickly return an estimate. After a customer accepts, they can submit their files for publication by transferring them securely through the web site.
"We knew that most customers are creating their documents through a computer anyway, and that, with a transfer facility, we'd be able to avoid the creation of paper galleys", said Schaffer, "this should make it much easier for Pathway to increase the amount of service they provide."
episode49 worked with Brian May of Maycreate to provide a fresh look to accompany the new capabilities. Maycreate provides design and marketing services.
Pathway Digital is the On-Demand portion of Pathway Press. They provide on-demand color, quick turnaround black and white printing, laminating and folding. Pathway Press is the publishing ministry of the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. Pathway provides magazines, books and discipleship curriculum materials, operates a full-service editorial, printing and marketing facility, as well as managing one of the largest Christian bookstores in the nation.
