South Broad move aids redevelopment

Southeastern Tennessee and North Georgia regional newspaper the Times-Free Press reported the move of episode49 headquarters into the newly renovated Southern Saddlery building on South Broad.

"You have a sense of history being in the building that really inspires your creativity", said Kurt Schaffer, managing partner and chief architect at episode49.

The nearly 100 year old multi-story brick building interior has office lofts with the original, dark stained pine plank flooring, hand-hewn beams and exposed floor joists.

episode49 relocated to the facility to accomodate the additional developers required to support increased customer needs.

"Locating in the Southern Saddlery Building allows us to be part of the redevelopment of South Broad", said Ken Smith, managing partner and chief strategist.

The Saddlery building is located at the foot of the bridge over Chattanooga Creek at the Chattanooga Creek Greenway Trailhead and St. Elmo Avenue pedestrian way and bikeway.

Additional information on South Broad redevelopment can be found at www.southbroad.org.

The Times-Free Press, formerly the sister publication to the New York Times, reaches 68% of all adults in the Chattanooga area for a regular readership of over 265,000.
