Pat McCrory for Governorepisode49 began work on building a robust and interactive website for Gubernatorial hopeful, Pat McCrory, in March 2008. Pat McCrory is running for Governor for the state of North Carolina. He currently serves as the Mayor of Charlotte and in December 2007, Mayor McCrory became the only Mayor in Charlotte history to be sworn in for a record seventh term. With less than 4 months invested in the race, McCrory needed to gain a lot of ground to build the statewide support that his opponents already had.

"He had to really scramble to raise money," said Dan Ramirez, a Mecklenburg commissioner. The website needed to provide the avenue for a fast fund raising effort that included a complete donation system and "Reach Out" activities that empowered volunteers to help make it happen.

episode49 continues to build upon a solid base of website design and development for political candidates that reaches into other states. Tools that were built into the website include Volunteer Activities, Raise Funds, Reach Out, Contact Media and Register to Vote.

"This is our second gubernatorial website in less than 1 year." said Ken Smith, managing partner of episode49. "We expect the same results as we helped to achieve for Bobby Jindal, who was elected Governor of Louisiana in 2007."
