New developer starts

Background in online applications for consumer services and personnel management increase development capacity for episode49 customers

"Branden brings many years of experience in SQL, .NET, and ASP - all the technologies on which our customers rely", said Kurt Schaffer, managing partner and chief architect, "Branden's past work experience shows that he knows how to take over and improve applications that others have written."

Schwartz was a member of a team that inherited a key, online system used by Watson Wyatt, a global consulting firm specializing in human resource management. He and his team performed extensive software salvage to enable the system to achieve its objectives. Prior to Watson Wyatt, Schwartz supported software that provided succession planning for large organizations, and covered the tracking of training necessary for employees to be promoted to higher levels of responsibility.

"We are confident that Branden's understanding of educational tracking needs will translate well into medical education tracking, and ultimately enhance our ContinuTrac service", said Ken Smith, managing partner and chief strategist, "Branden knows how software supporting the personnel needs of large organizations - like hospitals - must perform."

Schwartz has worked extensively on development projects that support consumer services companies such as Avon, SBC Communications and Wellpoint. At Wellpoint, Schwartz converted the internet based system to a content management solution, enabling non-technical personnel to update the site content.

"With Branden's background in team development, we know he will fit well with our disciplined approach to development", said Smith.

Schwartz is a computer science graduate of Cornell College, and will be completing his masters in December at Regis University. He had previously lived in Chattanooga while studying at Baylor, and is returning to the area with his wife, Nicci.
