Make-A-Wish receives e49 support

episode49 updates and maintains the web presence for the 11th Annual Southern Brewers Festival

"We're pleased to continue our relationship with episode49 in getting out the word on the internet for Brewfest," said Heather Anderson, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish of Eastern Tennessee, "they've always been easy to work with and responsive."

The Southern Brewers Festival showcases handcrafted brews, the latest boats and yachts from Sea Ray, plus food and entertainment, on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Sponsored by Big River, the Southern Brewers Festival has become one of the South's longest-running brewfests. In that time, the Festival has raised more than $180,000 for local charities.

"Not only do guests get the opportunity to sample a variety of fine ales and lagers, but they can give a seriously ill child a chance to feel like the most important person in the world," said Ms. Mary Kilbride, Festival Co-Chair. "That's what makes this event special to me."

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee grants the wishes of children battling life-threatening illnesses. Make-A-Wish has granted over 400 wishes and utilizes the services of more than 120 volunteers. Any child under the age of 18 who has been determined by a physician to have a life-threatening illness and has not been granted a previous wish may be eligible.

The event features nearly twenty microbreweries from the South who will be featuring more than 30 award-winning beers, food and live music. Details are at www.southernbrewersfest.org.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® was founded in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizonia. There are 81 chapters throughout the United States and 22 international affiliates. The East Tennessee chapter granted its first wish in 1988 and continues to serve all 36 counties of eastern Tennessee. More information is available at easttennessee.wish.org.
