CNN reports results from client survey
"Lou Dobbs Tonight" reports online survey results concerning border security collected on GOPSenators.com.
"The survey capability shows how solicited online surveys definitely attract national interest", said Ken Smith, managing partner and chief strategist, "It also clearly keeps the surveying organization in touch with the preferences of their constituents."
GOPSenators.com quickly received thousands of responses in answer to a mass e-mailing to registered site users. Respondents expressed their views by completing a survey on border security and related immigration issues.
"The high participation numbers indicate that, in addition to immigration and border security being important issues, the survey mechanism itself performed effectively so that people were willing to complete it", Smith said, "Built on top of the .NET framework and utilizing MS SQL, the survey was able to collect responses easily with the high volume of concurrent users."
Lou Dobbs, commentator on CNN, referred to the number of responses on October 25 at 6:25 pm EST as the basis for a story on "Broken Borders" from CNN reporter Casey Wian. The "Broken Borders" report is a frequent segment on "Lou Dobbs Tonight", presented on CNN TV, the primary CNN channel.
